About this scholarship
The Bertha Foundation Fellowship supports emerging leaders using the law and media to advance social justice, human rights, and democracy. Fellows pursue advanced degrees at partner institutions including Oxford, Columbia, and UCT while receiving mentoring and network access from the global Bertha community. Particularly focused on Global South leaders working on corporate accountability, indigenous rights, and environmental justice.
Eligibility
- Emerging human rights leaders from any country with at least 3 years of experience in social justice work using law or media
- Must be applying to an approved master's program at a Bertha partner institution
- Strong commitment to returning to advocacy work after studies

Required Documents
