About this scholarship
UK government global scholarship program funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. Covers one-year Master degrees at any UK university.
Eligibility
Citizens of Chevening-eligible countries. Minimum 2 years of work experience. Must return to home country for 2 years after scholarship. Two-year gap since previous Chevening award.

Required Documents
- Valid passport (min 6 months validity)
- Bachelor's degree certificate and transcripts
- Two academic reference letters
- English language proficiency (IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL 90+)
- Updated CV/Resume
- Statement of purpose / Motivation letter
- Proof of financial capability (if applicable)
How to Apply
- Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country with an undergraduate degree and at least 2,800 hours of work experience
- Apply online at chevening.org during the application window (opens around August)
- Apply to three eligible UK master's courses and secure an unconditional offer from one by July
- Commit to returning home for two years
