About this scholarship

Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund scholarship for students from partner developing countries. Study at top Taiwanese universities including NTU.

Eligibility

  • Citizens of partner developing countries (mainly from Africa, Asia, Latin America, Pacific Islands)
  • Under 40
  • BSc degree for MSc applicants

How to Apply

  • Be a national of a TaiwanICDF-eligible partner country (countries with diplomatic relations with Taiwan; you must not be an ROC/Taiwan national or overseas-compatriot), holding a high-school diploma (for a bachelor's), a bachelor's (for a master's), or a master's (for a PhD), and meeting your chosen partner university's admission criteria
  • Submit a SEPARATE admission application to your chosen partner university by its deadline AND complete the online TaiwanICDF Scholarship application system during the window (around 1 December to 15 March)
  • Note that university admission alone does not grant the scholarship: only a TaiwanICDF acceptance letter does. Fully funded: round-trip airfare, dormitory housing, tuition, credit fees, insurance, a textbook allowance, and a monthly allowance (up to about NT$20,000 for PhD)
