Oxford Pershing Square Scholarship

The Oxford Pershing Square Scholarship is offered by the University of Oxford’s Said Business School, funded by the Pershing Square Foundation, to support outstanding individuals committed to tackling major social challenges. It is tied to Oxford’s distinctive 1+1 MBA programme, which combines a one-year subject master’s with the one-year Oxford MBA.

The award is fully funded, covering full tuition for both years of the 1+1 programme (the master’s plus the MBA) and a living costs grant, along with a leadership programme and mentoring. Scholars develop the skills to create scalable solutions to global problems while studying at one of the world’s leading universities.

Eligibility is for those admitted to Oxford’s 1+1 MBA programme, of any nationality, with strong academics, leadership potential, integrity, and a clear vision for creating scalable solutions to global social challenges. You apply to both an eligible partnering one-year master’s (by its own deadline) and the Oxford MBA (by the 1+1 MBA deadline), and upload the scholarship essay answering how you intend to change the world (up to 500 words) in the Funding section of the MBA application; shortlisted candidates are interviewed. For socially driven leaders, it is a flagship fully funded route through Oxford.
