About this scholarship

The Said Foundation Scholarship supports talented students from the Middle East to undertake a one-year master’s degree in the United Kingdom. The Foundation works to develop people who will contribute to the development of their home countries, focusing on nationals of Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria.

The award is fully funded, covering full tuition fees, a living allowance, return economy airfare, and visa and NHS surcharge costs, for one year of master’s study at a UK partner university. Scholars join a community committed to giving back to their home countries and region.

Eligibility is for those who hold the nationality of and are permanently resident in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, or Palestine, with an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK 2:1 or higher (or in their final year), demonstrated leadership potential, and a commitment to return home to contribute to development. You apply for a one-year master’s at one of the Foundation’s UK partner universities (non-partner universities are considered only if the course is unavailable at a partner), and apply online via the Said Foundation website during the window with transcripts, a CV, three references, and an English-language certificate. For students from these countries, it is a generous, fully funded route to a UK master’s.
