About this scholarship
Turkiye Scholarships (formerly Turkey Burslari) is a government-funded programme run by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB). It provides full scholarships to international students from all over the world to study at Turkish universities. The programme covers Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels across all academic disciplines. Turkey has been rapidly climbing university rankings and offers a unique bridge between Europe and Asia.
Eligibility
Open to citizens of all countries except Turkey. Must not hold Turkish citizenship or have lost it. Must be under 21 for Bachelor's, under 30 for Master's, under 35 for PhD. Must have a minimum GPA of 70% for Bachelor's, 75% for Master's/PhD. Must not be currently studying in Turkey on another scholarship. Must be in good health.

How to Apply
- Be a non-Turkish national meeting the age limits (roughly under 21 for undergraduate, under 30 for master's, under 35 for PhD, under 45 for research) with strong academic results (around 70% GPA for undergraduate, higher for graduate)
- Apply free and individually online via the official Turkiye Scholarships platform (turkiyeburslari.gov.tr) during the window (around January to February), uploading transcripts, diploma, ID/passport, and any required test scores; selection includes evaluation and interviews
- The single application covers both scholarship and university placement (no separate admission needed). Fully funded: tuition, monthly stipend, accommodation, health insurance, return airfare, and a one-year Turkish-language course (TOMER) for those without C1 Turkish
