UBC International Scholars Program 2027 (Canada)
About this scholarship
The University of British Columbia’s International Scholars Program is Canada’s largest need-and-merit undergraduate award scheme for international students, built around named awards such as the Karen McKellin International Leader of Tomorrow Award and the Donald A. Wehrung International Student Award.
Awards meet the student’s demonstrated financial need (assessed annually) for up to four years at UBC Vancouver or Okanagan, and target academically excellent students with leadership and community impact, including those from difficult or conflict-affected circumstances for the Wehrung award.
For 2027 entry, candidates typically need a nomination from their school or organization and must apply to UBC by the early scholarship deadlines in November/December 2026. Check the official page for this cycle’s exact nomination and application dates.
