About this scholarship
Uppsala University, Scandinavia’s oldest university (founded 1477) with 8 Nobel laureates, offers tuition fee scholarships to excellent non-EU/EEA students. The university is ranked in the global top 100 and is renowned for pharmacy, medicine, political science, and archaeology. Eligibility
Must be a non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizen required to pay tuition fees. Must have applied for a Master's programme at Uppsala University. Must demonstrate excellent academic performance. Must meet the admission requirements of the chosen programme.

How to Apply
- Be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland, liable to pay tuition fees, with strong academic talent, who has applied to an eligible international master's programme at Uppsala University as your first-priority choice via universityadmissions.se by the admissions deadline (paying the application fee and submitting supporting documents) and meets that programme's entry requirements
- Then submit the separate online Uppsala University scholarship application (including a motivation letter) during the scholarship round (around mid-January to early February)
- Selection is merit-based and highly competitive (only about 2% succeed). The scholarship covers the full tuition fee but not living expenses
