Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship

Provincial government scholarship for international students studying at universities in Zhejiang Province, one of China’s most developed regions with top universities including Zhejiang University.

Annual scholarship of CNY 20,000-30,000 covering tuition or living expenses. Stackable with university scholarships.

• Be a non-Chinese citizen complying with Chinese laws and the host university's rules, with good academic results and (often) some Chinese-language proficiency (e.g. an HSK certificate), applying to study at a participating higher-education institution in Zhejiang Province
• You do not apply to the province directly: download and complete the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship application form, then complete the chosen university's online international-student application, selecting the Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship and uploading the required documents, by that institution's deadline (deadlines vary by university)
• The scholarship is partial: a lump sum toward tuition and accommodation (around RMB 30,000/year for master's and above under Class A, or RMB 20,000/year for bachelor's under Class B); it does not include a monthly stipend or free housing
