University of Birmingham International Masters Scholarships
About this scholarship
The University of Birmingham, a global top-100 Russell Group university, offers International Masters Scholarships to support international students undertaking a taught master’s at its UK campus. The awards include an automatic tuition discount for students from selected countries and a separate competitive scholarship, easing the cost of a master’s at a leading UK university.
The award is a tuition reduction applied to the first year. The Postgraduate High Fliers Scholarship is an automatic 5,000-pound tuition fee discount for international students domiciled in selected countries (Pakistan has been included; confirm the current list), while a separate competitive scholarship offers 10,000 pounds toward first-year tuition. Both apply to full-time study at the UK campus.
Eligibility is for students classified as overseas fee payers for a taught master’s at the Birmingham UK campus starting in September, not already enrolled on a master’s programme; the High Fliers route requires being domiciled in one of the selected countries, and Dubai campus, partner-delivered, and online courses are excluded. You apply for an eligible master’s, accept your offer and pay the deposit by the deadline, and the 5,000-pound discount is applied automatically for eligible-country students; you apply separately for the competitive 10,000-pound award if required. For international master’s students from eligible countries, it is a worthwhile, partly automatic tuition award.
